installing emacs on fedora 17

I have just upgrated to Fedora 17 and installed emacs, OK, is my guess, as when trying with Code: $ emacs --version I got: Quote: GNU Emacs 24.1.1 Copyright (C) 2012 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
