This page shows there is a spin of Fedora targeted towards gamers but none of the 4 links are valid. Does anybody know what is going on with this? Were these links posted prematurely? I am a Linux newbie so I don't know if this is a brand-new spin, an upcoming spin, or a long-standing spin. Again, the link is below, then click on downloads to see the download links.
Hello all. Hopefully someone can give me a hand with what seems to be simple issue.
Hello,
I know that you guys must get asked LOTS of questions on making spins...sorry. I was just wondering if their is a way to make a spin with ALL the same programs install. Now I know that you can add programs to be installed in the kickstart file. But what about programs that aren't in the repos? For example I would like nividia-cuda 5 and svn code::blocks to be part of my spin.
This is my first post and I am finally at my whit's end. I have searched google and here and can't find a set of instructions on how to do this and I know I'm missing something simple. I currently have the Fedora 17 game spin installed on my laptop and am trying to add the design and scientific spin to it.
Hi Guys,
I have my hard disks set to spin down when idle which seems to be working fine except that they all spin up randomly sometimes.
The drives are all ones i just use for additional storage so nothing is running off them so I'm thinking it is the SMART check that is making it spin up.
Ok I have downloaded the latest security spin for fedora, time to take for a test drive! How similar is this to lets say backtrack? Is it the fedora equivilent? Has anyone used it/using it? I was a little unimpressed with the latest backtrack r3 release, not much has changed, wander how the security spin measures up?
Hi there,
I am currently running Fedora KDE Spin 64bit on my ibm desktop. I have put a lot of effort into making it my own as I see it. I would like know if there is a way I could make a .iso image of it so that others can benefit from the work I have done. If so, how do I need to go about doing this?
