https://bbs.archlinux.org – Hello I'm trying to install nvidia driver. I have GEFORCE GT 520M GPU. The driver from Nvidia website I'm install like that:./Nvidia-Linux-x86_64-310.19.run -a --opengl-libdir=/usr/lib --force-tls=newwhen I'm launching an Xorg the "Device not found" error appears.I have insert BusId PCI:1:0:0 line in my xorg.conf and it's launched. But there no output to the screen (only black screen and cursor in top left corner).The nvidia-173xx driver from AUR tell me again "Device not found" and after I edit xorg.conf it tell me that device not support by this driver (HowTos)

I've been trying to get my graphic card working under ubuntu and opensuse but to no avail.

First, i tried through additional drivers, but after installation it keeps saying "this driver is activated but not currently in use". That is 3D-accelerated proprietary graphics driver for NVIDIA cards.

I was running Fedora 13 on my old computer with a nvidia Geforce FX 5200 graphics card using the nvidia-173xx driver from fusion. After upgrading to Fedora 14 (the first day of its release) the X server wasn't working anymore, the screen just froze up after the progress bar.

I have set-up my Linux box but it is running it at 1600 x 1200 when my screen can handle 1920 x 1080. but when i set it too this some pixels fall off the screen. So how do i edit my xorg.conf to be able to output 1080 in my 32 inch screen. i will post my xorg.conf

hello, i have activated my Graphic Driver from " System settings > additional driver " , but my Card is still unknown , after run this command " sudo nvidia-xconfig " .. it boot me in text mode , can u please make a xorg.conf file for me :) HELP!
