I've been trying to get my graphic card working under ubuntu and opensuse but to no avail.
First, i tried through additional drivers, but after installation it keeps saying "this driver is activated but not currently in use". That is 3D-accelerated proprietary graphics driver for NVIDIA cards.
I was running Fedora 13 on my old computer with a nvidia Geforce FX 5200 graphics card using the nvidia-173xx driver from fusion. After upgrading to Fedora 14 (the first day of its release) the X server wasn't working anymore, the screen just froze up after the progress bar.

I have set-up my Linux box but it is running it at 1600 x 1200 when my screen can handle 1920 x 1080.
but when i set it too this some pixels fall off the screen. So how do i edit my xorg.conf to be able to output 1080 in my 32 inch screen. i will post my xorg.conf

hello, i have activated my Graphic Driver from " System settings > additional driver " , but my Card is still unknown , after run this command " sudo nvidia-xconfig " .. it boot me in text mode , can u please make a xorg.conf file for me :) HELP!
