I tried building GMP 5.0.5, and now when I'm trying to build MPFR, it starts checking for gmp.h and libgmp. The MPFR gives me an error that gmp.h (5.0.5) and libgmp (5.0.2) do not match, and MPFR is giving me the above error during make when it reaches to the gmp stage. how can I fix this problem?
I've tried installing different libgmp's from ubuntu app center and I tried installing it manually from http://gmplib.org/#DOWNLOAD but I can't get this to configure it's an old library and I'm trying to run it on the latest version of ubuntu but I didn't think I'd have problems but I'm new to trying to use libraries like this any help would be greatly appreciated.
I get the same problem with Football Manager 2013*** glibc detected *** C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2013\fm.exe: malloc(): memory corruption: 0xf7205340 ***

I have been trying to install g++. But during the configure process, it warned me about that I should upgrade GMP, MPFR and MPC. Firstly, I upgraded GMP to GMP-5.0.2 and everything went fine.
I need to install Haskell GHC 32 bit from the command line and I can't find this anywhere.
I need to install it because I need libgmp.so.3 for the 32-bit and i have read somewhere that I can find it when I install the Haskell GHC.
Any ideas how can I install it?
I am trying to install a new gcc version (g++ version) in my home directory on a server I have access too. This server already has gcc elsewhere (and gmp etc) but older versions, and I want to locally install new ones.
I followed this guide http://advogato.org/person/redi/diary/240.html to the letter, working in my home directory.
My spec file:
http://pastebin.com/tfPUBv0c
I patched it to remove patches that don't apply cleanly to 1.0.1c and to get it to build a ix86 package properly under a x86_64 host.
I'm building a rpm package of OpenSSL 1.0.1c for my F14 installation but I'm missing something but now knowing what.
[buurin@htcore SPECS]$ rpm -q --provides openssl.x86_64
config(openssl) = 1.0.0a-1.fc12
lib475
Having put /home on a separate partition when installing and then added another version of Ubuntu to a third partition and used the /home in common, I see the error of my ways.
I am facing the following doubt.
I installed Arch time ago with a home separate partition.
My issue is that I need to reinstall the system and I have not backup of my /home.
