Install Ubuntu alongside windows 7 SP1

view story

http://askubuntu.com – I had Windows 7 Installed on my device. My NTFS partitions were System reserved, C (Windows), D (Family and personal files) and after that I had ext4 for Ubuntu and at last there was a swap area. I formatted my Windows drive (C:) to install windows 7 SP1. I didn't pay attention to system reserved partition and I removed that. When I installed windows my partitions changed to this:http://i.stack.imgur.com/E4IBk.png. I want to use Ubuntu and Windows. but in installation, Its not important for me to format or remove Windows (C:), I don't want to lose my Family (D:) files. Is it safe (for my f (HowTos)
