In ubutnu 10.04 until ubuntu 11.10 anything was Ok with my Graphic card, But when I migrate to ubuntu 12.04 I had a corruption in my graphic card and I paid expert to repair it. It was Ok with ubuntu 12.04 in continuous but when I upgraded to ubuntu 12.10 I'm never able to install my nvidia.
I've installed Ubuntu 14.4 today and I got some problems with it but I solved and almost finish to using it as a Developer. But I have really important problem about my graphic card. I think this is related with my last OS setup. I changed the bios setting to Integrated for installing, but now I changed it to switchable. But something goes wrong. I can't solve it.

I want to see is there any other way to make this automatic to not spend so much time for selecting the graphic card?

I'm new to ubuntu and i've been having this question since the day i installed Ubuntu. Does ubuntu come along with the necessary drivers for my Nvidia 640M graphic card? Also , My computer was overheating a few months back and i found out that the problem was with the Nvidia Optimus thing so i had to use Bumblebee and disable the graphic card.
