I need to have the MySQL extension available in OpenOffice. I am using the OO that comes from the F11 distro.
I know that many people here are recommending LibreOffice, but what if I want to use OpenOffice? How do I install it? I see in Synaptic Package Manager that, if I choose openoffice.org, it will also install a number of libreoffice packages. Seems that it will install LibreOffice rather than OpenOffice.I got an issue with LibreOffice on Mac but my spreadsheet works fine in OpenOff
Hi,
I'm new to Fedora, so have me excused, if the terms below are not correct.
I started installing a lot of packages using "yum". Among the packages were OpenOffice.
Now OpenOffice is installed, but I would like to make it available from the Fedora GUI interface (I guess it is called GNOME?).
How to do this simple operation?
I was running Maple 13 under Fedora 14. I upgraded to Fedora 17 by doing a fresh install, Maple was in /usr/local which was preserved in the upgrade, but it won't run. I need to activate it.
I had open office 3.2 installed and working perfectly
then I ran
yum update
it installed a lot of packages
Open Office no longer worked
On the net I found (note it is truncated in th edisplay but if you put your pointer on it it disp[lays correctly
