So I upgraded on a fresh install to ubuntu 12.10, not beta, and I've tried installing wine many mannnnyy times now many different ways but the jist of it is this

when i try to open avidio file like .mkv extension with mplayer it requires some multimedia plugin like gstreamer and and Ubuntu 12.01 freshly installed
