I've been facing a very annoying problem these last two days.
I'm trying to install linux on a server.
That server got a RAID Controller: Broadcom BCM5785 [HT1000] SATA
Everything is set perfectly, I successfully created a RAID1 array using the BIOS.
Problem is: any of all linux ditributions I tried are able to see it.
Since I have an hadware controller, it would be stupid to configure Fak
I'm trying to install 6.5 on this server. I can't get past the RAID.
CentOS doesn't recognize my 4ea 1tb drives.
I don't find a way to bypass the Intel RAID to use software RAID.
