Select input method won't seem to go away.. I tried making it so only Samsung keyboard is enabled but the select input method won't go away? When ever I have my keyboard open it is. And sometimes I have to press space twice? Really causes a lot of typos and frustration

I am attempting to connect a bluetooth keyboard to my Nexus Q. Because the Q has no native touch/keyboard interfaces I have been controlling it by sending key events via ADB.
I have installed BlueKeyboard JP and need to activate it. That is done under Settings -> Language & Input. I need to check the checkbox next to BlueKeyboard JP.
Hello, I installed Fedora 17 64 bit KDE, and I need to use other inut method. When I click "Applications->Settings", I didn't see "input method selector". Then in a terminal I installed im-chooser by:
yum install im-chooser
Then under Settings I can see "Input Method Selector".
Like most of us love Swiftkey, do you constantly having this 'Select input method' in the notification tray?
I understand it's a problem with Android and not Swiftkey.
Have you found a workaround to make it go away?
Hi,
I'm running de-sensed ICS Tazz w/ Nova Launcher, and I installed a port of the Jelly Bean keyboard. Is there any way to get rid of this notification?
Thanks
After installing SwiftKey, I've noticed a notification in my notification bar that says "Select input method SwiftKey 3". I didn't notice if this used to be there before I installed SwiftKey.
Is this always there, or does it mean I have conflicting keyboards active or something? As far as I know, SwiftKey is the only one active.
Thanks.
I've installed iBus and ibus-mozc, an input method engine of Japanese, from the repository, and attempted to enable mozc from Preference > "Input Method" tab > "Select Input Method" combo box.

I also tried ibus-anthy, another legacy Japanese input method, but the situation was the same and I couldn't use anthy.

In Emacs run in terminal, ctrl+space is a standard shortcut key to select region. But under Ubuntu 12.04, it will invoke some input method for non-English language. I was wondering if I can reserve it for Emacs only?
Under System Settings -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts, I couldn't find to what ctrl+space has been bound. Strange.
Thanks!
