SocialFlow, the makers of social marketing optimization technology that helps brands determine when to post their messages to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, as well as which messages they should promote, has today closed on $10 million in Series B funding.
The Toronto-based online advertising and marketing company Chango just announced that it has raised $12 million. All of the participants in Chango’s last funding round also participated in this one, including iNovia, Rho Canada Ventures, Metamorphic Ventures, Mantella Venture Partners and Extreme Venture Partners.
Vidyard, a Y Combinator alumnus and enterprise startup that sells a video marketing platform with embedded analytics tools to businesses to help them track and monetise video content, has closed a $6 million Series A led by Canada’s OMERS Ventures. Existing investors iNovia Capital and SoftTech VC also participated, along with a personal investment from Eloqua‘s Jill Rowley.

Global expansion doesn’t come cheap, and to that end, mobile app marketing platform, Trademob, has raised a Series B of $15 million led by Kennet Partners. Specifically, Kennet has invested $12.5 million into the Berlin-based startup, with additional funds coming via what is effectively a follow on round from existing investors, Tengelmann Ventures, and High-Tech Gründerfonds.
Extole, a startup offering tools for brands to manage their “social advocacy” programs, has raised $7.5 million in new funding.
The round is a follow-on to the $10 million Series C that Extole raised about a year ago, and it comes from existing investors, including Shasta Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, and Trident Capital.
TechStars Boston 2011 grad Promoboxx, a startup offering a brand-to-retailer marketing platform, has raised an additional investment of $1.375 million to close its Series Seed round of financing. The company’s investors include Launch Capital, Boston Seed, SK Ventures, Common Angels, Stage 1 Ventures, and over 30 angels.
London-based social media marketing platform, Footfall123, which offers a variety of digital marketing management tools for brands and retailers to run promotions through Facebook or via other digital channels, has raised a new Series A funding round of £1.7 million.
Marketing startup TrueLens is announcing that it has raised a $1.2 million round of funding.
Digital marketing company Kenshoo has raised $12 million in new funding.
The round was led by late-stage investment firm Tenaya Capital, with participation from all past investors, including Sequoia Capital, Sequoia Growth Fund, and Arts Alliance.
