Having a Mac has it’s ups and downs, its awesome for music, business, and school. One thing Mac is definitely lacking are games. All those awesome titles like Call of Duty, Battlefield, and others are usually only on Windows and occasionally iOS, but there is always an answer and in this case it is called CrossOver.
Google announced yesterday the addition of a new feature, Quick facts, to Google Maps search results. When a user finds a point of interest on Google Maps, if information is available, a small blurb with some summary facts will be available in the search results interface via the web browser interface.
I have a raspberry pi, connected via crossover cable to a HP N54L Microserver - both are using wireless USB adapter to connect to the router for internet and I have just connected a crossover cable between the two so I can try and WoL over it.
This may sound mad but I have my reasons :).
When my microserver is connected to the router via ethernet WoL works perfectly.
Kubuntu 14.04 / KDE KMail 4.13: I sort of got used to the fact that keywords search has been broken in KMail2 since early KDE 4 but at least up until KDE 4.12 the quick search option (available via toolbar above message list panel) worked fine. After the upgrade, quick search toolbar is now broken just like the full search option.
