Hello guyz,

I have a "rooted" micromax A44, an mtk based phone loaded with gb. Yes, It hs very low internal memory (a mere 170mb dedicated for user apps nd its data). There are no roms nor a recovery available. So im at my wits end. I tried these to overcome the problem.

1. changed internal apps (system) into user ones using Titanium Backup and moved them to sd card.

I have an LG -E405 phone running Android 2.3.6.

As can be seen here, the phone has 1GB internal memory and 384Mb RAM.

When I look at default App manager, this is what I get,

RAM - 231Mb System Memory - 157 Mb. Internal Memory - 378Mb. SD Card - 2Gb.

Also, all the applications I install, by default take up space from System memory.

On my Windows 2008 R@ box, I have setup "Max Available Memory" in the advanced options to 4GB. But I have 8GB of memory available. Can I increase the "Max Available Memory" to make use of all available memory without rebooting the server?

Hi I am brand new here. I got sick of "low on internal memory" on my wildfire even after using the guide to download straight to my SD card and so I have now rooted it using the HTCDEV method. The main thing I wanted to do was get rid of HTC sense which seems to mainly just use up resources.

Dial *#9900# and click on copy to sd card u increase lot of space in internal memory :)

I’m having the usual problems with my Galaxy Ace(Gingerbread 2.3.3) having run out of internal memory. I’ve successfully rooted the phone and installed both ES File Explorer and Root Explorer both of which show loads of options – but I’m not sure what I need to do next to solve my memory problems!!

Hi all

Slighly confused by the internal memory on the S2.

I thought it had around 16GB of internal memory but when I checked...setting/storage/ it shows internal memory as Total Space =1.97Gb Apps 238MB Available as 1.70GB

So this adds up to only around 3.9GB ????

Any ideas where the rest is.....
