I am going to start a migration from and Exchange 2003 cluster to a new Exchange 2010 SP2 with 14 mailbox databases of a supposed maximum size of about 400 GB each. Each database will be divided into 2 LUNS, data and transaction logs. LUN size takes into account to leave about 20% of free space to avoid monitoring alerts.
So the scenario I am facing is where I had an old SBS 2003 server. I used Outlook to export emails to a PST, saved on a USB and then imported them back into the new SBS 2011 server (two different physical boxes).
We have now destroyed the old box and I have just realized i forgot to export an old, very small email account.
Have some question about exchange size limits. Last week a user wanted their send receive limit increased. I tried it on their account settings. didn't work.
installArchives() failed: Selecting previously unselected package speedcrunch.

If I use the GUI to move the mailbox database from a locally attached drive to another locally attached drive, will it basically take as long as a file copy would?
I tested a file copy of a similar size file and it appears to take around 1 hour.
Our change server running the informatoin store stopped processing emails. Some users could send email externally but no emali was being received from exterla or internal resources.
I had a look on the exchange server and found thjiis error in the event biewer:
The database engine has consumed 99% of the "b-trees" resource (87048 used out of a maximum of 87696) for the database.
We have had a couple of nasty experiences recently where a heavily used Lotus Notes database has gone over the 64gb limit.
The databases had some slack space which enabled us to run a database compaction to fix the problem, but taking the database offline long enough for a compaction to get exclusive use of the database was a real nightmare.
We tried:

For an Microsoft Exchange server, is it possible to encrypt the email database such that the sysadmin cannot see the emails?
In other words, the admin would be responsible for all aspects of running the Windows server and Exchange process, but would not be able to see the contents of any one email (except those sent to him, obviously). Only another individual (e.g.
