I am facing a problem with the dash not showing proper/actual icons for certain applications such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Daily Mail. Instead of getting the standard icons for these applications, I get to see a default icon for all the applications.
Can someone please help with this issue.
For some reason I cannot see any icons for several applications I have installed. There are no icons for SELinux and none for VFTP. I need to change some settings through their configuration files using the GUI's for SELInux and VSFTP.
Can someone please tell how to get these icons to display in the Show Applications Window
Thank You
Charlie

I previously enabled the display of the Computer, Home, Trash, and Network Servers icons on the desktop on Ubuntu 12.04, probably using MyUnity. Today, I installed a custom icon set and after rebooting, all four icons disappear from the desktop. I switched back to the default icon set, all of this using MyUnity, and rebooted.
Is there any way to rearranged applications' icons alphabetically in Samsung Galaxy SII?
The first attachment is SGS II Panel, with icons are arranged as per installation dates.
The second attachment is a China made Android where the applicationsÂ’ icons are in alphabetical order.
I wish to have both phones with alphabetically arranged icons, so please do help me.
I had some applications installed, from an external source. I deleted the library, but the icons are still hanging around.
I would very much like to either hide the unused icons, or to delete them.
Your kind help would be appreciated.

I changed them manually but the real problem came when I tried to configure network manager.
