Hey,
unfortunately I dont have the permission to ask in the ROM section of Resurrection Remix but i wanted to evaluate wether or not it is possible to turn off the sounds when typing on the keyboard without switching the device into mute mode.
There is also nothing at "Settings" "Tones"or "Sounds" unfortunately.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Kevin John
This is my first post here, and my second day with Linux.
I have recently stumbled upon a great piece of software called Unison. The program, as you may know, is used to synchronize files between computers. It began working just fine, but recently it is subject to an annoying crash or something or other.
I begin by choosing my profile, which happens to be a new profile.
I noticed that most of my photos are missing....
So I went into my home folder and clicked File -> Restore Missing Files (I had kept a Deja Dup backup). It came up with a few files, but only ones from the Home directory itself, not the folders inside it. If I open Pictures -> Photos and click Restore Missing Files I get a file (actually a folder) called "2011".
Hi
I was backing up my home dir when I found many ".jpg.pnj" and ".zip.id3" files. The ".pnj" files seem to be thunbnails for the ".jpg" files I have.
Hello all,
I created a "Shared Files" folder in /home and changed the security of this folder to allow rwx access by a group of users (2 users in group). I am trying to redirect their documents, pictures, and videos folder's on these users (/home/userprofile/documents) to point to a single location at (/home/Shared Files/documents) in order to consolidate the location of the files.
Just as Ubuntu no longer has a separate "netbook remix" CrunchBang no longer as a separate "eee remix." Reason being that support for the EEE is now built into the linux kernel itself.
