I am using the iball 3.5G netconnect usb modem with Fedora and AIRCEL net pack but have been unsuccessful in connecting to the internet.
I added a new mobile connection, chose India, then AIRCEL, then Aircelgprs.Prepaid, connect automatically clicked, available to all users clicked and saved the values entering the root password.
Need help in connecting modem in Ubuntu 12.10!
how to connect vodafone usb stick modem in ubuntu 12.10. In ubuntu 11.10 it works, then I try in the same way in ubuntu 12.10 but it doesnt work. Do you have a solution?
I am from Indonesia, I use sim card 3 as my provider.
I have Ubuntu 12.04 and a 4G mobile broadband-modem called, ZTE mf880 ltf usb modem. Every time I loose internet-connection, Ubuntu seem to "loose track" of the modem and I have to pull it out and put it back in again, only to wait for Ubuntu to detect it again.
I admit I'm a linux novice but I'd like to use it more my problem is that the Disto I like best is Ubuntu and over the last 12 moths I've installed or tried 3 different versions of Ubuntu (13.04, 12.04 and 12.10) but none of them will detect my Vodafone K3571-Z USB modem.
