http://crunchbang.org – I need to install ia32-libs & ia32-libs-gtk in order to use Adobe Air applications.  I run into one issue specifically, requiring a 32-bit libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.  I'm not sure if the Air applications would run with only the SO and not the libs, but do work fine with the libs.  The problem for me is that when I install ia32-libs-gtk, apt wants to remove several packages including (what made me discover the issue) cb-lock.  So I can't both have 32-bit gtk libs and be able to lock my screen at the same time?  The following is what apt wants to remove: The foll (HowTos)

But I am using a 64-bit platform and to do so i need the ia32-libs package. i have scoured the net for fixes, workarounds etc. but have found none that work. the output i get after trying apt-get is: Reading package lists... I want to install eagle cadsoft 6.2.0 on Ubuntu 11.10, eagle is 32bit compatible so I need to install ia32-libs but its giving the following error:

I did reinstall using todays daily build raring-desktop-amd64-20121108.iso and am trying to install ia32-libs-multiarch:i386. Using Ubuntu Software Center I am getting the following errors.

Code: Package dependencies cannot be resolved

This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable.
