Need to build 32-bit app on 64-bit Ubuntu.
Realise that I need to install ia32-libs.
I cannot install ia32 libs no matter how hard I try. Here is the error I get:

Alright, so I'm not new to Linux, whilist I'm still learning, although who isn't? So, I wanted to install Skype, complained about not being able to be installed due to 'ia32-libs' not being installed, so i said fine...
I need to manually install the drivers for my graphics card, which is an ATI 2600 xt. But I am using a 64-bit platform and to do so i need the ia32-libs package. i have scoured the net for fixes, workarounds etc. but have found none that work. the output i get after trying apt-get is:

I want to install eagle cadsoft 6.2.0 on Ubuntu 11.10, eagle is 32bit compatible so I need to install ia32-libs but its giving the following error:
Package ia32-libs is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

I did reinstall using todays daily build raring-desktop-amd64-20121108.iso and am trying to install ia32-libs-multiarch:i386. Using Ubuntu Software Center I am getting the following errors.
