http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hi, I have the orange i9100p - and rooted using the rachmat3 method I could really do with a few pointers- Especially from people with the same phone version and root method I've flashed ROMs before on other phones (desire, desire HD Touch Diamond) but the whole thing seems bewildering on this phone, I've spent days reading and still dont really know whats going on and whats the best way to proceed So my phone is as stock, still with the Orange ROM updated to ICS, I assume it has stock kernels, but it is rooted etc I was hoping to flash another ROM, maybe without the Orange stuf (HowTos)

Just unlock or flash new rom 36 weeks 4 days ago

Hi, I just bought a new S3 off ebay. It is unfortunately locked to Orange UK.

I was wondering should I just unlock the phone (Vodoo SIM unclok) and stay content or better yet get an unbranded stock ROM and flash it through ODIN. I am confused.

I have not done any flashing of ROMs since my old Galaxy S (DarkyROM). So have not been in touch.

I am pannicking a little as my wifes phone may be bricked.

i have just got a sim free prada 3 to replace her orange snafrancisco.

The version that I received seems to be an unlocked version from Orange, some french provider (I didn't even receive an English manual) . My phone settings were in French but I reset everything and I get the Orange splash screen, and some icons like the web browser is orange, and there are also some pre-installed orange apps...

Yep as the topic states, im in trouble, and i think i may need your help! Ive been lurking arround here for the past year, reading guides and looking at UI's for inspiration, but now i need some assistance getting a desire working again.

Thing is, Back in march i rooted the phone, installing revolutionary and tried off different roms.

I have settled down with my phone, after enjoying jelly bean roms and its Google now I was still missing my uma signal boost from orange on the stock ics firmware...

So I tried neatrom 3.5 and loved it, aroma mods and it just got better!

Then I found a way to get Google now on it too, also my uma signal through WiFi with orange working on the custom Rom!

Now I just need to stop fiddling

I have an HTC One X on the Orange network here in the UK.

I sent my phone off for repair due to a bad screen. When it has come back 3 weeks later it seems to have been reloaded with T-Mobile software!

Just to say that I'm running the new Tmobile US version of this phone with an Orange UK Sim card and it is running very fast in London. Orange already trialing 4G LTE offering here, and I'm usually reaching speeds of 8 MB downloads 2.5 to 3 MB uploads.

BUT... I still really want UMA/ Wfi calling to work...

I have been looking forward to flashing my HTC Desire for a long time now, and just today finally managed to do it. However, on the final step I have come across a big problem and I dont know what to do.
