As of today, Asus and Google’s smash hit tablet the Nexus 7 is no longer the only Android tablet boasting Jelly Bean. News started surfacing this morning that some lucky Transformer Pad TF300 owners have received the prompt to download the OTA update.
Hello!
I want to buy myself a tablet. This would be my first tablet! I want to know what would be the best tablet that cost less than $ 400, or at least around $ 400!
I use a tablet to play games, watch movies .. and that's all.
Of course, some broswing. I thought I take Nexud 7 32 GB + 3 G. After, I found the Asus Transformer 300 and I was thinking and Nexus 10.
I got an Asus tf300 3g.
I can use wifi, but not 3g.
When I start my tablet tells me to write password for my 3g. I do that. Then It starts op and 3g just doesnt work. It just cant find it.
Ive tryed to go search for internet but it cant find it.
The thing that worries me is, that when I click options it says "no internet conection". BUT there is 3-4 gray bars of conection.
If you own an ASUS Transformer TF300, you might want to check for an update since one has taken place over the weekend. It’s software version 9.4.3.29 and it’s still based on Android 4.0.3. This is a minor update that brings stability improvements and some sort of enhancements or bug fixes to the camera and WiFi.
Scores of TF300 owners on an unlocked bootloader are bricking their tablets because they flash this 4.2. update like any other or a custom ROM.
Do not update to 4.2. if you unlocked your device! It is almost assured that you will permanently brick your tablet!!
Asus has done something to the bootloader in 4.2.
Hello, I've got a problem and I'd be very happy for any advice.
I am on rom JellyBean AOSP. I was using my Transformer and sound stopped working. So I decided to turn it off and on again and when I tried to turn it on and I wasn't able to start tablet anymore. I'm stuck on the first screen you see when you turn on the tablet. So I wanted to do factory reset in the recovery.
The asus transformer infinity is the worst product I ever buy: slow, laggy, buggy: really it's a real piece of crap. One of my friend bought a cheap nexus 7 and I tried it: it's like 5 time faster than my transformer infinity 500 bucks tablet. I tried to getting help with Asus support: a real joke too: they want me to pay the postal cost to return the tablet.
My screen lift has gotten worse and now creaks sometimes when I type. I've also randomly experienced an unresponsive screen that requires putting tablet to sleep and back on again to fix. Do you go through Asus or Google for a return? I originally bought it from Sam's Club and its well past the 30 day return for them.
Sears has a really hot deal on the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300. As you know the tablet alone goes for $399, but Sears will throw in a keyboard dock for Free. That’s a huge savings for those that are looking for a keyboard, and nobody does it better than ASUS with that amazing dock. My understanding is that this is only offered on the Sears website, and isn’t available in stores.
