I know that when you put contacts into your android phone, it automatically syncs them to your Gmail account and you can import or export them yadda, but I'm on my computer on my Gmail account and I cannot find any of my phone's contacts!
Hi all,
Happy New Year!
My girlfriend's phone fell, there is no physical sign that it fell but there is no picture on the screen. I opened up the phone and plugged in the screen from my phone, the picture is there and the phone works fine. I didnt open the phone completely just the back and plugged in my screen by lining up my phone side by side.
Hi, my wife has dropped and smashed her screen. No problem, I just set her up on my zte blade backup phone but only 30 contacts synced to the phone. Turned out she's been saving to contacts to the phone and not her Gmail account. I would appreciate help and advice on retrieving them.
Sadly, I've only had my Galaxy S3 for half a year and it fell off a car yesterday, destroying the glass screen and the digitizer. I have a lot of pictures and videos of much sentimental value that I must get off my phone. The phone still works though, I can turn it on and off and still hear the sound effects. I also still get notifications and still receive calls.
I was trying to delete all the random synced rubbish from Gmail and Facebook that made its way onto my phone. I succeeded and then did a manual input of the handful of contacts I want in my phone's phonebook (ie, those people I'll actually ring or text).
I do not know where my phone is. I do not have screen lock nor any apps on the phone to track or wipe, etc. Brand new phone for the most part. I dont have a data signal at this time. I want to unsync anything and everything I can to that phone. How can I unsync the device to gmail, gmail contacts, etc.
Hi,
A few months ago i started using GO Contacts. Back then, I had my contacts stored on my SIM. Later on, I moved all the contacts to the phone, and deleted them from the SIM. Ever since, every few days, I suddenly see my old SIM contacts in the contact list, and I have to delete them once again.
1. Other contact apps do not show these contacts, only GO contacts.
2.
I am using the NOTE 10.1 and my CONTACTS APP is not working anymore. All i did is selected a different gmail account for my contacts than before as i had migrated all my contacts to this account on my laptop. Someone disabling the current account contact sync feature and enabling the new gmail account contact sync feature has messed up the contacts app.
On my Android phone* I have three sets of contacts: the SIM card, the phone itself, and Google(R). Can someone explain how all of these interact with each other?
My previous phone was a park-it-pc with win-doze 6.1. I had all of my contacts on SIM, the phone, and whatever ActiveSync does. When I got my 'droid, I simply moved the SIM card and started using the phone.
