Clean install of the latest Statler 64-bit yesterday. In both Google Chrome and Firefox, YouYube videos are not playing properly. They start playing normally, but then the video freezes (including the progress bar, so it's more than the video, I guess), but the audio keeps playing normally.
Hi~ I've been having very strange problems on Firefox in Ubuntu 9.10 for a few weeks now.
I'll start with the strangest problem: I cannot access anything from fedoraproject.org and haven't been able to, except for a few minutes....once..... and it never came back. This was when these problems had already been happening and after several tries to reach Fedora's site.
I'm seeing weirdness with Scottrade's main screen with Firefox (not the real-time streaming quotes app). It seems after a few minutes, whether idling or otherwise, Firefox gets into a state where nothing on the Scottrade page is clickable. Firefox menus still work as do other tabs so Firefox itself is still alive. It's as if a timer fires inside Firefox that renders the Scottrade page inert.
I'm running Fedora 14 now but had the same issue in 13, though I don't recall this issue in 12.
Since june 2010 has every new update of Firefox caused it to freeze immediately after launching it, no window shows but it's there in the list of sleeping processes. Trying to launch it a second time results in the message "Firefox is already running".
I recently purchased a new system and chose to install Fedora 11. I absolutely love the speed and functionality of Fedora however, I have run into a slight problem. I can only get sound from one application at a time. If I start listening to an .mp3 and then launch youtube, I get no audio from youtube, however if i start youtube first then the .mp3, youtube sound plays but .mp3 doesnt.
I've just upgraded to 12.10 and firefox doesn't work properly.
When I start it from the gnome shell nothing happens, however system monitor shows me two processes called 'firefox', the last one of which has memory field as N/A.
But when I just type in terminal firefox it starts and there is only one entity of firefox in the system monitor.
I have recently rooted my Galaxy y with 8 GB Memory card. Everything seemed to work fine until now. I have downloaded some videos from youtube downloader and Advanced download manager via my phone. However, some videos are not working. Even the mx player treats them like audio files and some disturbing sounds come through them when I play it.
Hello,
Ever since I upgraded to firefox 10.0.2, I can't watch videos with youtube (it just shows up as a black screen); when I put noscript on "allow scripts globally," and reload the page, it still doesn't show the videos. But when I go to "add-ons" and disable noscript, I can watch videos. Why would that be? Will I have to stop using noscript to watch videos?
thanks
