Hy. Sorry for my english. I have a problem with ubuntu 9.10 x32. I have a canon multifunctional printer mp190 and ubuntu does not have drivers for it . And the biggest problem is with my usb modem from vodafone: huawei K3765, ubuntu does not detect it. I have a second modem huawei e220 from orange but ubuntu has detected and is working properly.
i just got a USB-modem Huawei E392. I am running Ubuntu 12.04. When i plug the usb modem into my laptop nothing happens. It is detected as GSM Modem/Networkcard, when i run the "lsusb" command in a terminal. It is shown in Network connections as HUAWEI-E5172-ACA4, under the wireless tab. But i'm not shure if it is my usb-modem.
Has anyone ever tried to use a WiMax(4g) USB device with openSuse? I'm just curious and was thinking about getting the U300 device that Sprint and Clear are now selling to poeple in the Dallas area. Its a 3g CDMA/4g WiMax combo.
