Help!!! Ok, so I will not deny that I am not an expert with my phone, but I have never had this issue. I cannot send messages, it fails after like 1 hour. Please help.
I recently bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 on O2. Everything is working exactly as expecting, except for the messaging app...
I can send text messages absolutely fine; messages deliver near instantly and reach their recipient as intended, however I'm having problems with receiving messages. My phone takes hours to actually receive messages.
Normally, up until yesterday, I am able to send pictures (from my camera on this phone) in a text message through Messsage Plus. I switched to Messages and still was unable to send photos in a text. I can send text messages, but just not pictures in a message. I spoke with Verizon and the rep advised me to clear the data by going to App Manager, etc.
My Nexus 5 has been able to send and receive text messages perfectly fine for 6 months now but as of a day or two ago it has just hasn't been able to send or receive messages from any text messaging app.
I am with Amaysim (in Australia), my phone is running Android 4.4.4 and I have tried sending messages from Hangouts, EvolveSMS and TextSecure and none have worked.
Hi, I have over 3,000 text messages on my phone, and I need a decently quickly way to delete them. I've seen a few other posts on here about this topic, but everything everyone has said isn't working for my phone. I've tried downloading the SMS Backup & Restore app; it was working fine while backing up my text messages, but now I'm trying to delete them all, and it is taking FOREVER.
Starting at exactly 3pm (EST) on Sunday two weeks in a row my phone could not receive SMS text messages. It could send SMS, send and receive calls, and send and receive MMS (mutli-media messages). I was using the stock messaging client. This is on an Samsung Rugby Smart running Android 2.3.6, with AT&T as the carrier. How do I get text messaging to work again?
I have been sending text and MMS messages to my mums phone and she is not receiving them. I use to have an iPhone and now have a Samsung S5 and the problem still exists, she has a Galaxy 5. The messages I send show as sent on my phone but she never receives them. I am able to receive messages from my mum and we can call each other.

I could send and receive text messages before and after few days I can no longer receive text messages but I can send them. Tested with 2 different phones with 2 different SIM cards but I didn't receive messages from either one.
I don't have any messaging related apps installed apart from Skype which I haven't launched after installation of it.
I got my G3 yesterday. I can send/receive calls and I can receive text messages, but I cannot send text messages. Messages state "Sending" and then fail. I have rebooted, reset to factory, pulled the battery, and done an ancient smartphone dance, but nothing is working. Ideas?
I haven't been getting my text messages for 2 days now. I had no idea until a friend told me she has been texting me several times with no reply. I can send texts but I'm not getting them?? I turned off phone... Removed SIM... Erased all old text messages...nothing worked. Any suggestions? Thanks
