I recently installed libreoffice from the .tar file. It installaled correclty but when i click on any of the application of libreoffice(LibreOffice Writer), it doesnt start. Sometimes it shows that JavaRuntime Required.:confused:
I read the same thing in the Readme File in the libreoffice .tar file.
Hello, since the last update to Libreoffice 3.5.4-1 all the applications of the libreoffice suite hangs on startup (image attached). - I have looked up on the logs but I can't find any message. - I have deleted the .config/libreoffice folder with no luck - I have reinstalled the libreoffice-gnome-3.5.4.1 with no luck.
After saving file in LibreOffice with russian name it displays in Nautilus like "??????.odt". This file correctly opens in LibreOffice, but with "??????.odt" title in titlebar.
Another side of problem - when I create file with russian name in Nautilus (for example, I'm renaming english filename in russian), it doesn't open in LibreOffice with an error " /home/..../???????.odt doesn't exists".

Some PowerPoint presentations (.ppt files) seem to be trying to open in LibreOffice Writer.
When opening the file, it asks for a character encoding, then opens as a Writer document with gibberish in it.

Hello,please excuse my bad english.I have a problem. Since the libreoffice update from 3.5.6 to 3.6.1.4 libreoffice don't start. For a short time i see the splash-screen and that's it. In the terminal, when i type soffice or lowriter or libreoffice --writer i can't see any message. Also i deleted the ~/.config/libreoffice folder. But that doesn't help.
Running 'sudo pacman -Syu' gives the following message:(49/49) checking for file conflicts [##########################] 100%

Whenever I open a cvs file from the command line using the cmd 'libreoffice --calc my_file' and libreoffice was not previously started I do not get a launcher icon for libreoffice calc.
