Been learning a lot over the last 2 years about all the different distro's , how unique they are from each other and getting a idea about how these Engineer's and Developers think.
I have been given the privilege of 'Senior Member' in another Linux Forum I belong to and I enjoy helping people.
Can an idea really be stolen? If somebody does something good once, then it's impossible for someone to do something remotely similar without other people claiming that they stole the idea? If this is the case then all the operating systems out there wouldn't resemble each other in the slightest.

i have a great idea for an android app (i'm sure you've heard that before!). but really, it's intriguing enough for me to consider either pitching to a programmer OR learning myself. i don't know how important just having the idea/funding is vs. doing it myself. plus there is always the issue of someone stealing your idea if you hire an outside programmer. thoughts?
There a lot of launchers available to the public, but about 90% are either the same or a Icopy or Windows phone copy. I want to know some of your great ideas! And who knows, a dev might see this and make one if them.
