@inkane, yes, enabled.while playing (youtube's) mp4 files, I can see something like thisbut mkv files won't, do the format matters?(although the stuff in mkv is H264 mp4)
I have a ArchOS IMT 5 and Creative ZEN video players that plays wmv files. I have a mixture of avi and mpg files, as well as some youtube videos saved as flv. I need all the files saved as a wmv for my players.
I writing applcation which split live stream from web camera to multiple h264 mp4 files. Now I have some problems like missing keyframes and maybe another.
Are there any tools to check my output files and print list of errors?
Of course I have errors from players, but I was not able to solve the problem with them.
I'm recording some voice messages on my Android phone in .amr format. I want to encrypt their contents so that any one playing this file is not understanding the original voice until it has been decrypted.
How do I encrypt the voice message files so that the files still can be played but the contents are unintelligible? Is there any mechanism to encrypt voice messages?
VLC will not play certain mp4 h264 files. Some h264 files work, others don't. I don't know why.I opened vlc in a console, then tried to play the file. Here is the output.VLC is version 2.0.8. x64 build of arch.[0x1e64798] lirc interface error: lirc initialisation failed
[0x1e64798] main interface error: no suitable interface module

I'm using MediaCodec to decode h264 packets that were encoded with ffmpeg. When I decode with ffmpeg, the frames display fine. However, when I decode with the MediaCodec hardware decoder I sometimes get black bars that show up in the middle of the frame.
