Huawei’s D series of devices has received three new additions to it’s family, the Ascend D quad, quad XL and Ascend D1. Each iteration of the Ascend D will come with it’s own differentiations in specifications, appropriate to each tier of model. Details for the Ascend D quad have been released for us to drool upon.
Huawei released a teaser video the other day for their MWC 2014 presence. The video indicates a couple new tablets will be revealed along with a new smartphone. Until now, many people seemed to think the possibilities for the smartphone included the Ascend P7 or the Ascend D3.

We have seen quite a bit of chatter about the Huawei Ascend Mate, the smartphone maker’s entry into the supersize phone market. That is not the only device that may be of interest to consumers, especially those looking for something more in line with the size of a traditional smartphone.
Huawei’s Ascend P6S isn’t their only device that has leaked. Today, the Ascend Mate 2 has posed for some photos and we have information on the specifications for the handset. This phablet’s screen comes in at 6.1-inches. But we now know that it will be a 1080p IPS display. The Mate 2 will have a 1.6Ghz quad-core Cortex-A9 processor with 2GB of RAM and Mali-450 GPU.
