I've this really weird behaviour with my ubuntu 10.04 / nginx 1.2.3 server.
Basically I changed the SSL certificates this morning.
And ever since it has been behaving weirdly on all apps.
Godaddy is reporting that HTTPS/SSL setup is correct.
When I try a page it still works correctly when I'm using HTTPS.
But when I try using HTTP nginx reports error :
In an environment where a handful of Apache servers are running a bunch of sites using SSL certificates for HTTPS, where should these certificates be placed? In Debian or Ubuntu, should all relevant files be put in /etc/apache2/ssl? Or is there some other location better suited for this?
We have a GoDaddy signed SAN cert for our Exchange 2010 server, internally it works fine - issuer is GoDaddy and cert chain checks out.
Externally the same SAN seems to be used (the domains are the same as the GoDaddy SAN and we have no other certificates installed other than the self-generated Microsoft one) however the issuer is our internal cert authority?
