It’s no secret the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note II is going to be one heck of a phone. In addition to the quad-core power and S Pen, it’s the multitasking that’s noteworthy on the device. No, we’re not talking about the traditional multitasking found in most Android devices— we’re talking about Sammy’s special variation of multitasking.
It’s no secret that the upcoming Optimus G is going to have a cool— and I mean really cool multitasking feature, but most of us want to know how in the world the manufacturer came up with its spin on multitasking.
hi...
i have a question...
i have tried so many ROMs of HTC Sensation from this forum....
and i still not found the best ROM is right for my HTC Sensation yet..
now i'm talking about the ICS Multitasking display.
(i categorized it in 4 numbers)
1.
like in ROM ARHD, sense 3.6, AOSP, the multitasking display is like this:
and this display is verry common in most of all ICS devices..
2.
Coming from an iPod touch (closest thing to a smartphone I've ever had) I just got my one v and have a few questions. I'm a bit confused on multitasking, I tap the right most button and I get several vertical files, are these the background apps that are currently running? I've noticed that when I hold and "remove from list" sometimes that particular app still runs.
When Android 4.2 came out, I complete wiped my phone (used CWM) and flashed a completely stock setup - system, boot, and radio, etc.
I've noticed that my battery life has taken a dump, but more troubling is the lag when closing apps in the multitasking bar. Swiping away apps shows a 2FPS animation.
The entire OS appears to be somewhat buggy - does anyone have the same issues?
It's been awhile since I've made a new thread but I thought that I should make one here...
Since this is where I figured out how to get proper multitasking to work on newer Sense ROMS.
And I'd like to refine it some more :D
The plan is to have the app limit bumped from 8 apps to 50 apps.
Don't worry about if you can't run that many apps at once - the lowmemorykiller will kick in according
I'm using a Huawei Ascend 2 on Straight Talk's service, and although the specs on it say it allows for multitasking, I seem to have trouble with apps automatically closing on me when I go back to the home screen.
I have some sad news for those of you in the UK who happened to splurge on a brand new Galaxy Note II smartphone. While we expected devices outside Korea to feature that awesome and coveted multi-window multitasking feature, it appears that some of the international models released in the UK do not feature the customized multi-window multitasking feature.
Sorry if I'm being wordy but i'm sorta annoyed
first of all, what is multitaskin?
apparently apple, htc, samsung and all company that advertise "multitasking", should take english 101 again...
NO ANDROID/APPLE device have sucessfully done, who am I kidding, have even started on multitasking...
