In reading the posts here, I keep seeing velocity mentioned. What is it, and what does it do? And I also see rom...some people want to change that once they've rooted their phones. What is that?
Thanks!

Hi all,
First time poster; be nice please :D
I've recently upgraded my HTC Velocity with the CM10 and AOKP mods and both have been working great.
Prior to this, I had the ICS ROM installed which was posted by Leigh Kennedy (if memory serves).
Anyway, the issue I'm having is with both of the JB ROMs above, the SD Card is not detectable at all.

I tried connecting my HTC Velocity to an aux input on my car stereo, but the connection keeps breaking (noisily!). The Velocity has a 4-conductor earphones socket, so I need an adapter/cable to connect this to a normal 3-conductor, 3.5-mm stereo input.
Does anybody know a solution? (Replicating the phone/microphone switch that is found on the supplied earphones would be a bonus.)

So I recently found my old Velocity Cruz Reader R101
But when I tried to turn it on, it just shows the "Cruz" logo... It connects to my Computer ,however, as a removable Disk
I tried pressing the "reset" in the pinhole but it just shows the logo again doesnt load up
Is there anything I can do to salvage this thing?
