Is HTC Sync actually on my phone?

http://androidforums.com – I have been trying to find HTC Sync on my Explorer (Android 2.3.5), but can't find it. Is it actually on the phone, and if so, how can I get into it? Thanks. (The reason for my looking for it is long and complicated, but basically it is because the Sync does not work on my computer, and you say somewhere to make sure the same version is on the computer as is on the phone. And I want Sync because somewhere in the Explorer section of this wonderful site, it explains how to force apps to install to the SD card without root, for which you seem to need Sync installed. I cannot get HTC Sync to work. Have installed and re installed 3 times on my windows 7 computer. One time the HTC sync app started to down load my songs from the computer that came from my sd card while the phone was not plugged in. Then it stopped and the run time error popped up for the hundredth time.

Stock ROM. JB 4.1.1. Rooted. Windows 8 Pro 64-bit.

Had the phone 3 weeks. For the most part the external Sandisk 32GB SD card has worked fine. I use MediaMonkey to sync my music.

I just bought a samsung galaxy Ace 2 and I am climbing the wall trying to sync with my maxbook pro (os 10.6.8). Tried sync mate but the phone is not supported.

I would like to auto sync the gmail and calendar apps, only when they start. I am having a Galaxy SII (use the Gmail app and the Samsung Calendar app sync with goog), and I am relatively noob about Android. I'm a HTC ONE X user, with CID HTC__621, last month my phone got updated with JB 4.1.1. Now I'm trying to sync my phone with my pc, HTC sync Manager is opening but my phone is not getting complete sync. I can't transfer my data to my pc or vice verse.

So all this syncing was confusing me, but i finally got my music on my phone. However at first on my phone, i clicked the sync now button, and it synced, but not my music. I checked my photo galleries and stuff, nothing synced. All I have on for syncing options in my HTC Sync Manager on my computer is Music, everything else I have selected off.

Ubuntu one - can't sync files 1 year 20 weeks ago

I have signed up for the Ubuntu one service today. I have been using Ubuntu lucid on my computer for a long time . I just find the Ubuntu one storage and sync service recently and i would like to set that for my backups.

I could use someone's help, please. My google sync got corrupted(i think). I cannot sync my new contacts to computer from my phone.
