Not rooted and stock rom yet every time I go to update (from .7) it turns off, gives me a red exclamation mark and triangle and just restarts. Tried charging it to full and keeping plugged it with no luck.
I tried to flash stock recovery to my HTC One M7 phone (rooted, HAD TWRP recovery, s-on).
after my attempt, now phone restarts, and is stuck on the black screen with red triangle and exclamation mark in it. by pressing and holding power button, i restarted the phone. It restarted normally, and booted just fine.
I have an HTC One M8 (CID: HTC__J15) with Software Version: 1.54.401.10, updated from 1.54.401.5 to 1.54.401.10 without any issues. I have rooted, unlocked bootloader and have s-off using firewater. Recently I have tried installing the official update to 2.22.401.5. But everytime it fails.
I have a HTC One Mini Europe, stock ROM, just rooted. I have returned to stock recovery, relocked the bootloader, but the OTA keeps failing with that red exclamation mark. The error says something about the HtcSoundRecorder.apk that can not be found in the data\preload folder.
since yesterday evening my pad seems to be dead :(
Before I was doing some internet stuff and the battery status was going to 0 %. After battery was empty, I connected my pad to the charging cable; when doing that, a triangle symbol with an exclamation mark appeared.
So I removed the charging cabel and conntected it once again - the symbol disappeard.
Itll download the update and restarts with the android standing for about 25% of it, then it stops with android laying down with a red triangle over the stomach with an exclamation point in it. Its down loading 4.4 I think
