I live in India. And here the price of this chip is Rs 25000(INR). Which is quite steep. I heard that microcenter sold it for 199$ just a month back. I have a cousin that lives in New Jersey near New York.
So, maybe I can get him to go to microcenter to buy it for me.
But, that offer is not available now.
My cousin bought an xperia s for me from US with US warranty from amazon(it was 4k less dan d price in Indian Markets).
Is there any way the warranty can be made applicable in India?
Can the ownership of the device warranty be transfered to India in my name?
Or Can we buy a separate warranty for the device in India?
According to www.linux2u.co.cc, KDE performs much better than Windows 7, or even from the GNOME desktop, which is considered to be much lighter environment. The whole test was conducted noting usage statitics with System Monitor.
