http://androidforums.com – so i recently bought a used htc eris off of ebay (for verison) and i rooted it just to improve little things in the phone. (fix bluetooth, emulators, ect.) After this was going fine until one day i decided to download an app called "eris market fix" in hopes that it would allow some more freedom in the market. unfortunately, immediately after i downloaded it my phone lost not only its 3g but also all service. i then restarted and even hard reset it to no avail. i still could not make calls or connect to the 3g network or wifi. because i needed a phone, i reactivated my old phone in h (General)

I was able to charge my old Eris and skip the activation process for Verizon and connect to wifi but now The Market will not open, I was able to download the Amazon App Store but then says there is a Parse Error and downloaded and installed the GetJar app but when I try to download an app it also gives me an error.

I rooted my phone using SuperOneClick. Now i can't download anything from the Market. I cleared Market update, i reset my phone to factory settings, nothing... I browse the market, and when i want to download something, it popups "Your application will be downloaded" or something like that, and then nothing. Now i don't know what to do. Creating a second partition. 1 year 10 weeks ago

I've been trying for over an hour now to create a second partition in my memory card, and followed three or four different online how-to's, but my Eris just won't recognize any of it! It keeps saying the memory card is either blank/unreadable or broken.

I have found one thing to work to fix wifi cutting in and out. You will need to obtain your MSL in order to do this though.

Procedure: 1. Go to dialer 2. Enter ##786# (##rtn#) 3. hit reset 4. let the phone do its thing, works for rooted (at least on mean rom) and non-rooted 5. once the phone boots back up, skip through the initial setup steps DO NOT LET THE PHONE ACTIVATE OTA 6.

I have rooted my phone. I had downloaded LINK2SD application from Google Play. I have deleted all unwanted space consuming pre-loaded applications.
