I'm making the transition from my old Droid X to the VZW Galaxy S3, and I have a few questions. The flashing process between these two phones are quite different and perhaps another ex-Droid X user (or just an all around knowledgeable person) could help me out.
1. To my knowledge, we were never able to flash Kernels on the Droid X because of its locked bootloader.
I don't know if this will help the development of cwm for our device by allowing us to re-flash the stock Recovery after flashing a non working recovery. Or, maybe its an easy way to flash any recovery that we might want to test.
Its an app called "Recovery Installer". It allows you flash a recovery.img from your phone. No computer needed.
So does the Droid Incredible version of Froyo come preloaded with Flash 10.1? When going into Market, i cannot find a Flash 10.1 app with any keyword (flash, adobe, 10.1, etc...). When trying to install a Flash apk found from google, it says the app will replace a system app. When looking the manage applications program, under the All tab there is a Adobe Flash Player 10.1 version 10.1.72.7.

Adobe's Flash download page is displaying a message:
NOTE: Adobe Flash Player 11.2 will be the last version to target Linux
as a supported platform. Adobe will continue to provide security
backports to Flash Player 11.2 for Linux.
What is the plans for Flash support in the future?
With a bit of luck HTML5 media support will drop website developer's dependency on Flash.

I got a new Transformer Infinity. It's up to date. I can't get a Flash game to run in any browsers. Ive tried the stock one, Firefox, Chrome, and Dolphin. They all get an error message that I need Adobe Flash to run. When I try to download flash from the provided link, Adobe says that Flash is not supported on this device. The Asus website specifically says that Flash is supported.
The DROID DNA is probably the best smartphone available today, at least according to me. Since Verizon is such a stickler when it comes to bootloaders and all that fun stuff, it can be tough to deal with for newbies. Well XDA member hassoon2000 has come to the rescue with an all-in-one toolkit that will unlock, root, and flash your DROID DNA with a ClockworkMod or TWRP custom recovery.
