Hi all. I'd appreciate any help making my printer work. When I print a test page or a text file, nothing is printed. The job appears in the print status list and the stays there forever.
Hi, This morning I had a pop up box on my computer from "HP Upgrade Manager" which said: "Latest version of HPLIP 3.12.9 is available" and asking if I want it installed.
I'm running on Lucid 10.04 LTS.
G'day all,
I'm due for a new all-in-one printer/scanner. I'm thinking of a HP Officejet 6600 with wifi. Apparently it does I-printing as well. I can't find a straight forward driver for CUPS so this leads to a number of questions:
Does anyone have any experience with the machine?
Recommendations?? and/or alternative?
Does it require HPLIP?
How does HPLIP compare to CUPS?
Do they conflict? ie.
Hi all.
I have a hp officejet t65 printer whit LPT1 connection.
I add the printer but I am not able to print when a file is sent to be print the file remain stacked in the printer jobs list and after a wile it despair, and the file is not printed.
anyone pleas tell me how to configure this printer, I also use and hplip but , I don`t have a option for LPT.
I would like to install, preferably the latest driver for HP Officejet 5610 and share it (e.g. using CUPS).
However, I could not find any relevant options in the UI, and, I have to resort to the command line; is this so?
I am trying to setup up an HP Officejet G85xi printer through an Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive, so that the printer can be shared over the network without requiring that an attached computer be turned on to print. There is a place on the back of the Network Hard Drive to plug in the printer with USB.
I'm trying to get an Ubuntu 10.04 system to print to an HP LaserJet 3052 attached via the network.
Hello,
I got cartridge is low warning and after a couple of days refilled the the black cartridge (#56) for my HP officejet all-in-one printer.
The low warning is still there and when I try to print, it does not even try/use the black cartridge. I believe it is tracking the serial number of the cartridge (showing in the status of hplip manager).
Running 64-bit F17 up-to-date via yum, except for a custom 3.5.3 kernel.org kernel and I am unable to send a FAX from my HP Laserjet 400 MFP M475dn printer. I have installed the hplip stuff...
hplip-common-3.12.11-1.fc17.x86_64
hplip-3.12.11-1.fc17.x86_64
hplip-libs-3.12.11-1.fc17.x86_64
hplip-gui-3.12.11-1.fc17.x86_64
...and configured my system via hp-setup.
