I'm trying to set up no-ip on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS, but when I access no-ip website it can't show that no-ip is updating ip address.
Is it necessary to open some port? I installed no-ip from this tutorial. I need some help.
Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot
HP Pavilion dv7t
This independent report outlines many new issues Ubuntu 11.10 introduces that Ubuntu 10.10 and even Ubuntu 11.04 did not have. My poor HP Pavilion dv7 laptop computer is suffering. My 2006 Toshiba Satellite laptop computer performs better.
after updating to 14.01 version my touch pad is not working. im using hp pavilion 17. my laptop is brand new, it came with 12.04 pre-installed ubuntu version since i am not that much tech savvy and also new to ubuntu kindly help me.
I've recently installed Ubuntu 11.10 32bit on my laptop. I use a 2nd monitor connected to my laptop and after installing & updating Ubuntu for the first time, I went to display settings to set the monitor as the main display and deactivated the laptop screen display.
I am using Ubuntu 13.10/14.04. When i load the wall paper from my picture folder, it is rotated anti clockwise by 90 degrees (rotated left by 90 degrees). Anyway to correct this, even if the wall paper would not cover the full desktop due to sizing/aspect ratio problem?
Okay, so I got a shiny new Ubuntu 13.10 install going after going away from Ubuntu for a little while. I got everything going well, including Conky.
Suddenly, though, I'm noticing that the conky I'm running is lagging pretty bad. Rather than updating every second, it's updating at random intervals between 2 and 20 seconds, as though it's getting bogged down.
