I am using HP LaserJet P1005, as maybe someone of you know, this printer doesn't work with the default drivers, so i downloaded and installed hplip, and everything worked fine for a day and then it stopped working. I wasn't able to discover what the problem is so i decided to remove the hplip package and install it once again.
I want to install HP LJ Professional P1102 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I selected from pinter driver but it does not work.
There is error message
Idle - /usr/lib/cups/filter/hpcups failed HP LJ P1102
Please help
PS. It is shared printer on Windows 7
Hey,
So I installed F17 on my Lenovo Y550 yesterday, and tried to setup the printer today. The printer is an HP LaserJet P1102w, which should be supported by hplip. After downloading hplip and installing it, however, the hp-setup application can't detect my printer even though it's connected by a USB (and I've tried all 3 ports, the problem doesn't seem to be with the USB's themselves).
I'm trying to get an Ubuntu 10.04 system to print to an HP LaserJet 3052 attached via the network.
I am trying to setup up an HP Officejet G85xi printer through an Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive, so that the printer can be shared over the network without requiring that an attached computer be turned on to print. There is a place on the back of the Network Hard Drive to plug in the printer with USB.
Hi all. I'd appreciate any help making my printer work. When I print a test page or a text file, nothing is printed. The job appears in the print status list and the stays there forever.
Running 64-bit F17 up-to-date via yum, except for a custom 3.5.3 kernel.org kernel and I am unable to send a FAX from my HP Laserjet 400 MFP M475dn printer. I have installed the hplip stuff...
hplip-common-3.12.11-1.fc17.x86_64
hplip-3.12.11-1.fc17.x86_64
hplip-libs-3.12.11-1.fc17.x86_64
hplip-gui-3.12.11-1.fc17.x86_64
...and configured my system via hp-setup.
Hoping someone can help.
I recently re-imaged my desktop with Ubuntu 12.10. I have HPLIP version hplip 3.12.6-3ubuntu4 installed.
I am trying to set up my HP D110 wireless printer.
