I recall reading somewhere that there is a Portage API for Python, yet I cannot find any documentation on it. I'm working on an auto-update script for my server, and would love to use an API to run emerge rather than calling it from the command line and parsing the output.
Does anyone know if this API even exists, and if so, is there any documentation on it?
