I have recently become interested in Eidete Screencaster, and I am trying to compile it from source on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS.
After running bzr branch lp:eidete, I navigated into the ~/eidete directory and found an INSTALL file with the following contents:
Dependencies:
gtk+-3.0
libwnck-3.0
gstreamer-interfaces-0.10
gstreamer-0.10
gstreamer-pbutils-0.10

hey there I've been trying to install opencpn on fedora 12 and just keep running into dead ends.
I untared opencpn-1.3.6.tar.gz and ran ./configure and was told I needed wxWidgets so i got that and untarred it ran ./configure and got this
.....
checking for jpeg_read_header in -ljpeg... yes
checking for tiffio.h... no
I followed the following manual http://photivo.org/photivo/download_and_setup/linux how to compile Photivo on Sabayon:
graphicsmagick 16 bit
wget -c http://sourceforge.net/projects/graphicsmagick/files/graphicsmagick/1.3....
tar xfvz GraphicsMagick-1.3.18.tar.gz
./configure --prefix=/home/mictadlo/apps/ --with-quantum-depth=16 --enable-shared --without-lcm
More dwm hitches.I'm trying to apply the xft patch (downloaded from suckless), and the patch applies fine- but when I go to compile I get this (full output):cortman@gwaihir:~/dwm-6.0$ sudo make clean install
cleaning
rm -f dwm dwm.o dwm-6.0.tar.gz
dwm build options:
CFLAGS = -std=c99 -pedantic -Wall -I.
This is what I get:
Code:
/home/griffin/games/FreeOrion>cmake .
-- Build platform: linux
-- Configuring freeoriond
-- Configuring freeorionca
-- Could NOT find Boost
CMake Error at client/AI/CMakeLists.txt:30 (message):

These are the steps that I did:
Code:

Just in case, I am wondering if this would work in chakra, for going back to a minimal clean install, I comment this because I think it's somewhat related to your concern, thats all.
