How to use remapcoordinatesystem function to connect getorientationmatrix with getorientation?

http://stackoverflow.com – remapcoordinatesystem function input is Rin, X and Y. From android document, I know that the difference between coordinate systems used by getorientationmatrix and getorientation is only the direction of X-axis (direction of Z is determined automatically by right-hand principle).So can I just write a code like remapCoordinateSystem (inR, AXIS_MINUS_X, Y, outR) after implementation of getorientationmatrix? If not, please explain me why not. Thanks!! (HowTos)
