Hello!
I've tried reading through a number of threads on here about adding subtitles hard into the video stream with mencoder, but most of them are people asking how to do it or having problems. So apologies if this has already been asked somewhere, but I haven't found it yet.
Now
I have file .mkv (included 3 streams)
1.Video
2.Audio
3.Subtitle
I want to convert from MKV to MP4 by Mencoder Program with requirement on list
1.subtitle and video blend together in 1 stream
2.video same input quality
3.file target size same input too
How to write command for render this project ?
ps. Sorry for bad English
Thank you
Making a video in slow motion is actually nothing special since there are plenty of video editing tools with a lot of cool features for you to use.
I like keeping a collection of my favorite TV shows and Movies along with the subtitles. For a single playback, I won't mind fixing the subtitle from the player's settings, even though its frustrating most of the times, but while making a collection, you need perfect subtitles. Finding the correct one is not an easy task and neither is editing it.

I have downloaded a big .MOV file with subtitles embedded on it. But when I play it the subtitles aren't displayed. I then found out that Videos/Subtitle Track/caption - [English] was not enabled, so I enabled it. I was able to see the subtitles for a very brief while (say, half a second or less), but then they disappeared.
SubDownloader is a program for automatic download/upload subtitles for videofiles (DIVX,MPEG,AVI,VOB,etc) and DVD's using fast hashing.
Providing a friendly interface, users have a better movie experience since searching for subtitles is no longer dull or boring. SubDownloader follows the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) priciple. You just want to watch a good movie, right?!
Hey guys, I'm having an issue with MPlayer and subtitles on Oneiric. The issue is that when the subtitles are rendered, occasionally words are misspelled. It is always the same word. The misspelling can occur in the middle of a sentence, or at the end. The subtitle type is a smi file.
