How do I type the symbols for linear algebra on Ubuntu?
Are there any programs that use them? ( I understand this is trivial basket weaving. Whats the fastest way! )

I have a weird problem. I cannot type plus and underscore symbols but the minus and equals which are on the same key work very well. There is also no problem with my shift key because other symbols are working very well. Is it any bug with F19 ?

I just installed Lubuntu 13.04 and I can't type unicode symbols with keyboard shortcuts. For example, ctrl+shift+U+A+0 is supposed to produce a space. I'm not positive this is an issue with Lubuntu but I assume it is because I've never had the problem on any past Ubuntu installation (this is my first time installing Lubuntu).
Hello to everyone!
It sounds strange but I can not type in Gnome applications: after 2-3 symbols application stops showing what I am typing. At the same time, Alt-Tab is working perfectly and I can switch between windows. If, let's say, I open a file with gedit I can type only several symbols and after that it just stops to show what I am typing.
