You might be forgiven for thinking the HTC Desire Z is the misunderstood second cousin in the HTC litter. When the Taiwanese manufacturer already has the Desire, the Desire HD, the Desire S and more, it’s hard to get your head around just why you should care about the Desire Z. But the Desire Z truly offers something the other models don't -- a physical keyboard.
TC is working on entry-level Desire 200 and a mid-range dual-SIM Desire 600 smartphone with Android running on them.
Yet, the desire bravo I just got to play around with is no puppy, rather it is a bullfighter´s nightmare.
I am an advanced user, already had a fully modified nokia 5800 which I still keep for music and as a backup handset against the odds of a brick with the desire.

Here we go again with the HTC Desire HD/Desire S ICS update saga. After Telus announced the devices would not get the update, HTC came out with some damage control and said hold your horses— those phones are “still on schedule” to get the update.

My HTC Desire S cant open in recovery in fastboot. First i rooted the phone, but i wanted to install ICS, for that I unrooted Desire S, and now my phone is relocked. and i can not go into recovery. please guide me to root desire s with ICS or i can roll back to 2.3
After all the confusion on whether the HTC Desire HD will be getting an update to Android 4.0 or not, we finally have a solid answer from HTC. It’s now official that the HTC Desire HD will not be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The manufacturer has said that the HTC Desire has the best software experience possible for it’s current hardware on Android 2.3.
Given the three are sold at very similar prices, which one would you suggest and why? I loved my previous Desire S, and I think it would be a better choice, but I don't know the other ones...
