Hey guys, I am looking for a app that will allow me to track my tablet's location in case it gets lost or stolen. The problem is that it is a tablet, and it seems all of the apps I can find (except "prey" which just flat out didn't work) want to use sms to request the gps location from the phone. Obviously my tablet does not have sms, so I need to find one that uses push notifications.

I have Nexus 7 32GB WiFi version, and I was wondering if it was ever stolen or lost, how would I be able to track it down or at least wipe it clean? I already have the Cerberus app installed, I'm not rooted by the way. And I keep thinking about how it needs internet connection to function correctly so, the Cerberus app would be useless if it wasn't connected right? Or am I wrong?

My HTC Desire S was stolen yesterday afternoon. I had avast! Anti-Theft installed but its useless as either the SIM has been removed or the phone has had a battery pull.
Some questions:
I have changed Google password and deauthorized Android through Google account options. Will the thief have access to downloaded emails etc.
