Alright I have grown beyond angry at how crapy my battery life is...... I go into school with 100 percent battery and everything off except texting and calling (which I send like 5 texts all day) and I come out with less than 70 percent. I have low signal in the building though, and my phone is set to the lowest speed on power save and I hardly ever turn the screen on.
My GS3/4G/LTE is better than ever! I was extremely leery of the upgrade as I had a BAD experience once with an HTC Desire HD update. As of today I'm really liking the performance improvements and interface changes. Couple this with my new Hyperion 4200 battery and you just can't beat it!
I previously posted some screen shots of my battery use with the 4200 and ICS.
With battery life being such an issue in the past for Android. I thought this thread would show how HTC with its stock and rooted HTC DNA did with a 2,100mA battery. As we all know turning this corner for Android was one of the steps needed to shut up some of critics of the OS. Show your shots and let them see Androids improvement from the past.
Hello. I've had nexus for a few weeks now. Tonight i was surfing the Web and the screen started blinking on and off rapidly. It finally shut off. Now it will not boot. I tryed getting into the bootloader by holding volume up and down and power. I get nothing. If I plug it into the charger... The battery icon comes on the screen but that's it. If my nexus fried? Is there anything else I can do?
Ever since the Jelly bean update I have been getting terrible battery life. I had all of my settings turned off and my screen down to the lowest setting. After a while I just got sick of not being able to use my phone so I bought an extended battery off of ebay for 12 bucks. Take a look at these screen shots.
I'm sure there are already plenty of discussions on this topic, but I thought I'd share my experience with everyone. It is now 10:05pm and I have 36% left. My day started at 8am. Screen on time was 3 hours even.
First, here are some screen shots of my battery usage.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Proclaim from Straight Talk I purchased brand new only a month ago. I know all Androids have battery issues, but my battery dies extremely quick. Last night, I went to bed fully charged (100%) and 8 hours later (without once turning it on) it died 51% while having Juice Defender on with the balanced profile which turns off wifi, 3G, Bluetooth, ect.
