I am building an app that uses the device camera app to take photos or record videos. There is a single button in my app that starts the camera app, and does it using MediaStore.INTENT_ACTION_VIDEO_CAMERA intent.
Apple has been granted a patent (via AppleInsider) for a wireless iPhone camera remote control, which has a built-in display for previewing and reviewing photos, and shutter buttons for both still and movies, as well as a way to switch camera modes remotely and full media playback controls. The device would connect to an iPhone or other mobile iOS device via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
I have implemented camera by using This Tutorial but the camera preview is not working well. If the device is in Landscape mode, the preview shows in Potrait mode and vice versa. and the image is stretched too. Here is the Screen Shot. This was taken when device was in potrait mode.
Samsung announced today their new Galaxy NX camera will be available for purchase in October for $1,599. The interchangeable lens camera is an attempt by Samsung to merge a DSLR-type camera, including the ability to mount different types of lenses, with a smartphone.
I realise that when I use my USB port to charge my phone, when it reaches 100% charge, somehow my MTP device in Device Manager disconnects. I have to either re-plug in my USB cable, or switch to camera mode and then back to MTP on my phone in order for my device to appear once again.
Is this normal behaviour? Anyone getting this too?
When I take regular pictures the camera works perfectly. But when I switch my camera to self portrait mode the pictures always come out blurry. I've tried restarting the camera settings and it worked once. But now out won't work again. What can I do to fix it?

4.0.3 sense 3.6 which i assume is updated stock
All working fine except for a few glitches
If using 3d for a while then switch to 2d in the camera the camera view seems to sometimes get stuck in a messed up 3d mode
Almost like in 3d mode with the alignment miles out
