I just got the HTC One today because the new Blackberry lacked a few options I needed for work, but I can't get the notifications to work in a way that makes sense. I can't seem to get the notification tone/sound to go off for text messages. When you go to "settings"....."sounds"....."notifications and alarms"...
I am installing a custom keyboard to android. So, when we go to Launcher->Settings and choose "Language and Keyboard", there are 2 keyboards displayed. I can choose between the two keyboards. However, I want to disable this setting and make sure user cannot choose this. How do I do this?
Hi,
I'm running de-sensed ICS Tazz w/ Nova Launcher, and I installed a port of the Jelly Bean keyboard. Now whenever I use the keyboard there's a notification in the notification bar that says to 'Select input method', and I've already selected the JB keyboard a few times. Is there any way to get rid of this notification?
Thanks

I was prompted to update swype this morning. I did so, and now everytime I select swype it closes automatically and I get the android keyboard. Anyone else having this issue?
- Swype Beta is checked in Language & Input (android keyboard is selected and grey in this screen)
- Choose Input Method screen. I select "Swype Beta". It flashes to Swype.
Does anyone know why the select input method notification is constantly popping up? I'm using LG keyboard but the checkbox for it is grayed, although I can access the settings for it. Anyone?
Hello,
Every time I receive a notification of a new email my phone vibrates and I can not figure out how to get it to stop.
I have opened my email and gone to Settings -> Clicked on my gmail account -> unchecked vibrate and email notifications
But they persist, its like the email in the notifications and the email app are two separate things, but I can't find where to turn the other
Hello, I just got a a Samsung Galaxy S3 last month and had no problems with it until a few days ago. My Swype keyboard keeps disappearing for no apparent reason. I get the little choose input notification and try to choose swype, although I don't normally have to, and nothing happens. I really like using it, especially the latest version.
