You see a “Unable to install the psa-backup-manager” error while installing Plesk and it is because of the incomplete db4 packages needed for embedded database support for various applications.
Plesk uses a ‘psa’ database to store all the data and values. This data can be easily retrieved at any point of time using the Mysql queries.
How to access the psa database in Plesk?
There are 2 ways to access the Plesk psa database, from the Linux command line (via ssh) and from the Plesk control [...]
Typically, to do a server-wide backup through the Plesk interface, one can go to Home → Backup Manager → Disk Image labeled, "Download backup file to your local workstation".

I have a shared hosting package with 5 domains and I want to migrate my sites from a plesk 8.6 windows server to a plesk 10.3 windows server at the same hosting.
Hosting provider said that automated migration tool fails, so I have to do the migration manually.
So, I wanted to create a backup from every site and then convert them to version 10 and then restore them to new server.

We am using Plesk 10.4 for our production server. I like to configure the PHP error logs in Plesk. So that I can get my Php errors.
Any one please help me to add the PHP error logs to Plesk logs so that I can view from plesk control panel.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I have setup a job that runs every night and makes a full backup of all databases on the server.
During the day, another job makes differential backups every few hours.
The problem comes when a new database is created.
The differential backup job fails every time, until the full backup job runs for the first time since the database was added.
